Sharpening Blade Planes
Dull plane blades are better left on the shelf for any purpose other than being taken
down to sharpen. Accuracy and grit are the important things to remember when
sharpening. Not letting the blade get too hot is another. Once sharp, only
occasional honing is necessary to retain that pleasurable necessity. These videos
about re-sharpening and re-shaping are intended to help you get started. Naturally
the types of sharpening stones and aids you decide you need will be up to you.
