Sliding dovetails make beautiful shelves for one application. Slide them
together and forget about them. They are very difficult to machine if
the project stock isn't flat. Shown here is a jig that not only provides a
guide for pushing the router across the board to make each tail cut, but
also holds the board firmly and flat. The second jig holds the pin boards
firmly, flattens the board and provides a surface to run the router on.
Think a step at a time when designing jigs such as these. They not only
